"Mayak" match factory

Ealier:
Rybinsk match factory of the All-Russia municipalities union
Rybinsk match factory
Rybinsk State match factory

"Mayak" match factory was founded in 1916 on the basis of the Pietr Nikitich Voinov match factory, evacuated from the Pskov region (and for some time factory matches were labeled with the labels of the Voinov factory). The production has started in the April 1917. In 1918 the factory got the equipment of the burned "Fakel" match factory from Yaroslavl

In 1918 the factory was nationalized.

In 1921 new factory buildings were built in the suburb of Rybinsk. At that time the match production machinery was not produced in Russia and the new shops were equipped by the machines from the small nationalized and non-working factories

In 1923 the factory got it's present name.

In the Soviet time the factory went through several modernizations and the output raised to 1.0-1.1 conventional package boxes a year

In the autumn 1992 the factory was privatized.
In March 14th 1996 the production stopped and the factory went bankrupt.
In May 14th 1997 factory begun work under external management, but in June 2nd 1998 went bankrupt again.
In July 1st 1999 by the Yaroslavl governor decree it was nationalized (the first de-privatization in the post-Soviet Russia) and soon started the work. However, in December 2004 the factory stopped and every month of the idleness makes production restoration less and less probable.
