By the end of XIX-th century they bought out the factories of their competitors and moved main production to former Vorozhtsov factory (Ovechkina factory seem to be closed by that time). In March 1900 a former Vorozhtsov factory burned out, but in 3 months it was fully rebuilt by Kukhterins and in June 17-th in Tomsk "Sibirskaya Zhisn'" (Sibir Life) newspaper the brothers announced that "the factory started it's work again and the matches will be sold at Gostiny Dvor ...".
